Welcome to my constantly evolving Service Page.  This page arose out of a search for information on service. I found very little by way of organized information, and so as I found information or wrote articles the website developed.  

One of my developing interests is service and how to become better at providing it. I view service as a mindset of making life better for the dominant. That can be done many ways but I don't think the actions mean much without the mindset. I think the main motivation and reward out of service is a sense of satisfaction over a job well done (or it could be praise but it doesn't necessarily have to be praise). 

To me, service is providing very specific skills and things to the dominant.  Therefore, submitting to someone is not being in service to them. 

To navigate through the page, just use the links on the left-hand side for articles, websites, and books on service; guides to various facets of service (which is not at all limited to the few areas covered): cooking, bootblacking, formal dining/entertaining, and time management.
