As I've learned more about bootblacking, the more I think its important to have a good general knowledge of leather care.  So these links encompass both things.

Care of Fine Leather - Another interesting overview of leather care and different types of leather.

Leather Care 101 - I know, I know it looks like a cheesy guide for men on buying leather pants, but the second, third, etc pages actually go through a four part step of leather care and also handy tips on how to deal with mildew and other problems.
